Canine Consultants has held the exclusive Drug Enforcement
Administration permit for both federal and state for over 20 years.
All of the canines chosen have been conscientiously selected from dozens
of sources and meet only the highest quality standards. All
of the canines are proficient in the detection of the following narcotics:
- Cocaine
- Crack Cocaine
- Hashish
- Heroin
- Marijuana
- Methamphetamine (including ecstasy)
- Opium Powder
In 1968, Mr. Kirchner trained one of the first narcotic
detection dogs. Since then he has trained an enumerable number of
canine units that have been deployed both domestic and worldwide by federal,
national, regional, state and local agencies. Canine Consultants, Inc.,
years of unparalleled success and experience in the training of dogs for
law enforcement, is a true testament of Mr. Kirchner's ability and high
standards of quality! The training program provides the handler with
two weeks training at this location (South Carolina) with the dog. Additionally
all in service training will be free of charge at this location with the
original handler.
