1973	Special Citation, Federal Aviation Authority, for training original explosive-seeking dogs for United States airports.
1972-75	Captain/Co-captain, Metropolitan Police, Washington DC canine team, National Police Dog Competitions (Team placed first). Headed police dog demonstration team that performed at half-time show, Redskins vs. Giants football game, 54,000 people, Washington, DC. Primary Trainer and Advisor, Federal Aviation Authority Airport Security Project.
1971	Recognized in "Police Dogs in Action" by Clarke Newlon, as the trainer of the first dogs in the world to detect bombs.
